DALLAS: A CITY WITH A MISSION STATEMENT AND HUMMING WITH INSPIRATION

DALLAS: A CITY WITH A MISSION STATEMENT AND HUMMING WITH INSPIRATION

A city with a mission statement. That's one way to describe Dallas. According to the Visitdallas.com website, Dallas is on a mission to become one of the top convention destinations.
As Verint moves closer to the opening of its highly anticipated annual Engage Global Customer Conference that takes place in Dallas, May 14-17, it would appear as Tom Cruise once remarked in a very popular movie series: “Mission accomplished.”
Why is Dallas a great convention destination for Verint? "Dallas is not only centrally located for many of our Verint customers, but it's inspirational. You feel that when you're there. It's very tangible." - Ryan Hollenbeck, Verint SVP, Global Marketing.
“Inspirational.” Dallas is home to six professional sports teams, over 30,000 hotel rooms, and The Trinity River Corridor Project, which when completed is slated to be over ten times the size of New York's Central Park. It is also a city humming with culture and diversity that can be seen, heard and felt.
In 2009, for example, a bronze statue of civil rights pioneer Rosa Parks was unveiled at the Rosa Parks Plaza, located in downtown Dallas. The Rosa Parks Plaza is a hub for buses. A fitting location for a work of art that reminds those passing by to take a moment to reflect not only on the carefully crafted statue of Rosa Parks, but also on the granite wall that highlights a quote from Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. that reads “until justice rolls down like waters and righteousness like a mighty stream.” So if you’re planning to attend the Verint Engage18: Global Customer Conference in May, why not stop by and check out this inspirational statue that bridges the gap between history and art.
